So far the Elem. school was closed yesterday and today, haven't heard about the rest of the week yet. Many folks here have no power and many of the roads aren't plowed yet. Nancy

I just saw this on the Winchester Star's live chat area:

We've just received official word that the Winchester City Schools will be closed through Monday due to inclement weather and the President's Day holiday. School will resume on Tuesday.

Frederick County Schools just announced they will be closed for the remainder of the week. School will be in session on Monday, which was a scheduled holiday.
